Our Purpose

Fellowship Student Ministries exists to make followers of Jesus who love God, love people and are joining Jesus on his mission.

Ministry is always driven by something; there is a guiding force that determines the direction and goals for the ministry. At Radius we are driven by three imperatives: Loving God, Loving People and Joining Jesus on His Mission. Everything we do in our student ministry fulfills these three imperatives and is the foundation upon which we are built. We arrive at these imperatives from the Great Commission and the Great Commandments.

The Great Commission - Christ's commands to the church - Matthew 28:19-20

"Go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all I have commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Make disciples as you are going by connecting them to a relationship with God and instructing them in a lifestyle in harmony with everything He taught us and always in His presence.

Church's Purpose - to make followers of Jesus

Student Ministry

The Great Commandments - Christ's commands to His people - Mark 12:29-31

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself."

Disciples are made by the church as people become followers of Jesus that love God and that love other people. Love for God and others is the foundation for obeying all His commands.

Church's Process - lead people to love God, to love people everywhere and to join Jesus on His mission.

Matthew 4:19 - "And He said to them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." He invites people to follow Him, to be transformed by Him, and to join Him on His mission.

Our Vision

Our vision at Radius is that all students would progress through the discipleship process to where they are making disciples themselves. All of our programs and events are centered on the three imperatives and allow, always through relationships, progression of the different imperatives to occur. At Radius, we don't ever want to have processes over people, but we believe that the three imperatives are essential in fulfilling the Great Commission of Matthew 28 by "making disciples" and "teaching them to obey all I have commanded."
