Fellowship is a congregationally ruled church that is shepherded and guided spiritually and legally by an elected board of Elders who work hand-in-hand with the pastoral staff.

Mark Tapp is a resident of Pearland and a retiree from two careers, first as an environmental manager at Union Carbide and second as a high school science teacher at Santa Fe High School. No new careers are planned!
Mark and his wife, Lynn have been married 41 years. Their children include sons Joshua, Joseph, Eric, daughter-in-law Mary (Eric’s wife) and grandson Connor.
Mark and his family have been part of Fellowship since 1988 and he has served as an Elder for 24 years. Mark currently serves as Elder Chairman. He is also active in the children’s ministry, an Adult Bible Fellowship, a small group bible study and a men’s accountability group.
Kevin W. Key has a PhD in Aerospace Engineer Sciences and has worked as a contractor for NASA Johnson Space Center in the field of spacecraft Guidance Navigation & Control design.
He is married to Jennifer and they have two children, Rebecca and Allan. Kevin and his family have attended Fellowship Bible Church since 2004. Kevin teaches The Bridge (College and Career) ABF and Jennifer is member of the praise and worship team.
Corey Lawyer is a resident of Friendswood and has lived in the Friendswood/Pearland area since 2001. Corey grew up in Tulsa, OK. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and works in the oil and gas industry.
Corey and his wife, Elizabeth, have 6 kids (Luke, Noah, Anna, Tate, Chance, and Josiah). The Lawyer family has attended Fellowship Bible Church since 2002. Corey has served as a deacon for several years and has served as elder since 2015. He also serves as an adult bible fellowship (ABF) leader and teacher.
Don Surles, Elder Emeritus
Don lives in Pearland, Texas with his wife, Virginia. He has 2 adult daughters and 2 granddaughters. He has been at Fellowship for 13 years and served as an Elder for 6.
Don has served as a full-time minister, has worked in Labor Relations, and is owner of Diversified Shelters, a manufacturer of fiberglass analyzer buildings for chemical plants.
Don enjoys reading, playing cards, antique cars and entertaining. He has recently made mission trips to Croatia and regularly holds Sunday afternoon worship services at a nearby assisted living facility. Don is also the teacher for our J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) ABF.
Earl Cramp, Elder Emeritus
Earl lives in Pearland with his wife, Hope, and son, David. They have three other children, Ernest, Brad and Karen and are blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Earl and Hope were married in 1956 and have been at Fellowship since 1982. Earl has served as a Deacon, Elder and Elder Chairman.
Earl graduated from Oklahoma University with a BS in Aerospace Engineering in 1960 and retired after 39 years with The Boeing Company and other NASA Contractors. Earl's specialty during most of his career was Structural Analysis and then as Safety and Reliability Engineering Manager.
Earl currently serves as an ABF leader in the J.O.Y. ABF, chairman of the Missions Committee, and works with the Outreach Leadership Team. Earl is also active in ministry in several Assisted Living Establishments.
