Is Fellowship Bible Church affiliated with any other churches or denominations?

Fellowship Bible Church is an independent congregation without denominational affiliation. Fellowship's people come from a wide range of church traditions and denominations. Everyone is welcome.

Fellowship does participate in the local Ministerial Alliance and is involved with other Christian churches in the community. While we are not denominationally affiliated, we do have good relationships with other churches in our area.

bullet

Is Fellowship Bible Church charismatic in its practice of the gifts of the Holy Spirit?

While Fellowship does believe in power and presence of God's Holy Spirit in the lives of the church and individual believers, we are not charismatic in our practice and experience of His gifts. We do not deny the Holy Spirit's ability to do as He wants in other's lives and we celebrate many miracles of answered prayer and changed lives as a result of the Spirit's ministry.

bullet

I'm looking for a place to get married. Does Fellowship allow non-members to have weddings in their facilities?

Yes, non-members can have weddings in our facilities. There are guidelines to be observed and fees that non-members are required to pay. For further information, Fellowship's complete wedding policies are available on request. E-mail at fbiblech@fellowshipbible.org or call between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. CST Tuesday through Friday.

bullet

Are Fellowship's pastors available to do weddings for people who aren't members at Fellowship?

Fellowship's pastors are available to perform weddings within biblical guidelines at  their discretion. The staff and elders have adopted biblically based guidelines that direct their involvement in any wedding. Weddings must be planned following Fellowship's wedding policies. See the above question to receive a copy of the wedding policies.

bullet

Will I be pressured to give money if I attend Fellowship?

No, there is never any pressure for an individual to give money at Fellowship. We believe giving and stewardship are important facets of Christian worship and teach these principles as such.

However, we do not "pass the plate" but leave each person's giving as a private matter between God and the individual. There are opportunities to give as a believer obeys God's direction.
